1. Devil's Advocate - a person who expresses a contentious opinion in order to provoke debate or test the strength of the opposing arguments.

(seseorang yang mengekspresikan opini bertentangan untuk memprovokasi debat atau menguji kekuatan argumen lawan.)

Example: Teachers often play devil's advocate to provoke discussion in the classroom.

(Para guru sering bermain 'devil's advocate' untuk memprovokasi diskusi di kelas.)

2. Curiosity killed the cat - being inquisitive about other people's affairs may get you into trouble.

(menjadi penasara/ingin tahu tentang urusan seseorang dapat membuat Anda terlibat masalah.)

Example: Don't ask about his break-up, curiosity killed the cat!

(Jangan bertanya tentang putusnya hubungan dia, itu sama saja dengan cari masalah!)

3. What you sow is what you reap - You eventually have to face up to the consequences of your actions.

6. Cold shoulder - a phrase used to express dismissal or the act of disregarding someone.

(suatu frasa yang digunakan untuk mengekspresikan penolakan atau tidak menghargai seseorang)

Example: He offered a cold shoulder when a stranger asked for help.

(Dia acuh saja ketika ada orang asing meminta bantuan.)

7. Fit as a fiddle - in very good health.

(dalam keadaan sangat sehat)

Example: I met her yesterday after 2 years, she looked fit as a fiddle.

(Aku baru bertemu dia kemarin setelah 2 tahun lamanya, dia kelihatan sangat sehat.)
